Teacher tells of worry over her savings in failed Icelandic bank

A DERBYSHIRE teacher who had money in an Icelandic bank which collapsed has spoken of her confusion over whether she will get her money back.

Eleanor Porter, 55, of Matlock, was one of many savers left out of pocket by the demise of Kaupthing Isle of Man.

She had more than £147,000 in the bank when it collapsed.
